There are many things that we use as food, but many of us do not know that they can be used as medicine, not only by eating them alone, but also as a body medicine.

American health writer Loren Bowen recently highlighted that there are foods found in every kitchen that can be used as medicine, including:

1. Honey

Honey is one of the foods found in kitchen, it is considered to be a powerful medicine that kills against bacteria, germs, and fight against inflammation. Honey can be used as antibiotics and can be applied on wounds and Inflammatory areas of the body.

Doctors admit that honey heals wounds faster than drugs, and can also be used as a face wash to treat wounds and blemishes on the face.

2. Banana

Banana peel can be used as a teeth whitening agent. The inside/bottom of the banana peel is rubbed on the teeth for a minute, then it is left on for 10 minutes, after which a stiff toothbrush is used to clean the teeth from the banana peel residue.

3. Olive Oil

Olive oil is one of the best oils for cooking, but its effectiveness is not limited to that. Olive oil also helps women to remove butters and make-up creams that often cannot be washed away easily by water.

4. Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar, which is one of the drinks is one of the liquids that can be used to clean the body and hair. This vinegar washes the face and skin in general from the residue of creams, soaps, shampoos, scalp oils and other chemical products that people use.

This vinegar contains acid, which strengthens the hair so that it does not break and provides good nutrition that helps in growth.

Add half a cup of apple cider vinegar to four cups of water, and a little shampoo, then wash your hair.

5. Lemon

Dark spots and blemishes on the skin can be cleared with lemon juice, as well as blackheads and pimples on the face, elbows and knees. Lemon in the hair wash restores the natural shine, cleans the natural pores of the skin so that the dirt does not become a closed cover.

6. Tomatoes

Tomatoes can be used to make a face mask at home to protect it from damages and wounds from the sun’s rays that harm the skin.

7. Cinnamon

If you are fed up with pimples and scars on your face, you know that the best solution is cinnamon.

Cinnamon is an antibiotic that fights bacteria, it is a medicine used for inflammation in the body. The use of cinnamon helps the body to fight against harmful substances/poisons from food. It kills the bacteria causing the injury. Cinnamon removes dark spots and blemishes from the skin that are often seen after sun exposure.

A little powdered cinnamon is added to a little honey, then it is kneaded, and it is applied to the areas of the face or other skin where blackness and spots have formed.
