Natural self-treatment for nasal congestion

There are a variety of treatments available for nasal congestions and stuffy nose, but today we are going to look at natural self-treatments and home remedies that can cure or at least reduce the nasal congestion.

Ginger

Take a piece of ginger that is no longer than three inches (3 inches), put it in a container with two cups of boiled water, and then cover it and leave it for 20 minutes.

The water is placed in a cotton cloth, making sure that it is not too hot so as not to burn the face (warming) for 15 minutes or so. It is important when doing this that you lie on your back, with your head up on a pillow.

You can also drink a glass of ginger tea to open up your nose, since ginger is anti-inflammatory.

Facial massage

A gentle massage around the nose encourages blood circulation around the nose, and also helps relieve the sinus pain.

For 30 seconds around the nose with the two fingers of both hands press and massage, repeat three or four times.

Apple cider vinegar

When the nose is blocked, you can drink a small amount of apple cider vinegar. Vinegar is rich in potassium that reduces mucus, and acid that prevents the growth of bacteria that cause acne.

Put a small spoonful of apple in a glass of water, then drink it. It helps to relieve allergies and clear the nose.

Water

Drinking plenty of water and fluids is the best way to reduce mucus and fluid in the nasal passages. This in turn helps the nose to have water that has loosened the mucus. Keeping the water or liquids warm can help a lot in opening a stuffy nose.

A cup of warm tea with ginger and plain water to drink can also help unclog a stuffy nose.
